Delivery of Two New State-of-the-Art Firefighting Vehicles to Olympia Odos by ABO-DEMAN
The delivery of two (2) state-of-the-art Water Tender Rescue Firefighting Vehicles by our company, ABO-DEMAN S.A., to Olympia Odos S.A. has been successfully completed.
The vehicles, which were designed and manufactured entirely at our proprietary facilities in Mandra, Attica, have already been delivered and conceded to the Hellenic Fire Service. Their primary mission is the permanent and exclusive coverage of fire safety needs, rapid response, and extrication in traffic accidents along the “Elefsina – Corinth – Patras – Pyrgos – Tsakona” motorway.
Top Technical Features and Cutting-Edge Equipment
Built on powerful MAN TGM 18.320 (4×2) chassis, the new vehicles incorporate top-tier technology, fully exceeding the requirements of the Fire Service and European standards (EN 1846):
- Capacity: Custom-built with a 3,000-liter water tank and a 500-liter foam tank.
- Fire Pump Assembly: Godiva Prima P2A pump, featuring medium pressure FPN 10 – 2000 and high pressure FPH 40 – 250.
- Telescopic Crane: PM 11023 hydraulic crane with a lifting capacity of 10.3 t*m and a maximum reach of 9.6 meters.
- Rescue Equipment: Complete Holmatro hydraulic rescue tool series powered by Li-ion batteries (cutter, spreader, telescopic ram), Vetter lifting bags, Spencer stretchers, and the innovative Emergency Plug device for the safe immobilization of electric/plug-in vehicles.
With the completion and delivery of these two firefighting vehicles, ABO-DEMAN S.A. strengthens its position in specialized motorway vehicles. The trust shown by Olympia Odos is a significant recognition of our expertise, and these new vehicles will substantially contribute to network safety.
