On June 18, 2025, the delivery of a new, state-of-the-art firefighting vehicle to the Municipality of Vari \u2013 Voula \u2013 Vouliagmeni took place. The vehicle, manufactured by ABO DEMAN<\/strong>, is a donation from Mr. Giannis and Mrs. Dimitra Koustas and significantly strengthens the Municipality\u2019s Civil Protection fleet.<\/p>

The ceremony was held in the courtyard of the Town Hall, in the presence of Mayor Mr. Grigorios Konstantellos, the donors, elected officials, and Civil Protection staff. During the event, a demonstration of the vehicle\u2019s capabilities was carried out, showcasing its 40-meter water cannon, which impressed all attendees.<\/p>

The new firefighting vehicle is a four-axle truck, equipped with a 540-horsepower engine, a 20-ton water tank, and a special design for operations in rough and off-road terrain. With the ability to autonomously supply other firefighting units, it can carry a water volume equivalent to nine conventional fire trucks, making it a valuable asset for the rapid response to large-scale wildfires.<\/p>

Mayor Konstantellos warmly thanked the donors, emphasizing that their contribution is an example of social responsibility and solidarity. Mr. Giannis Koustas, for his part, noted that the donation is an expression of respect and recognition for the important work carried out by the Municipality\u2019s Civil Protection department.<\/p>

With the addition of this new firefighting vehicle, the fleet of the Municipality of Vari \u2013 Voula \u2013 Vouliagmeni now consists of 19 specialized firefighting and rescue vehicles, ranking it among the most fully equipped municipalities nationwide.<\/p>

ABO DEMAN<\/strong> feels deeply honored to have contributed to this important step in strengthening local Civil Protection, by delivering a vehicle that will reliably and effectively support the demanding mission of responding to natural disasters.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
