Donation by the Vardinoyannis Foundation & Motor Oil: 7 Ford Ranger Pickup Firefighting Vehicles to the Municipalities of Corinth & Loutraki

On Monday, March 9, 2026, the official handover of seven new light‑type firefighting vehicles (pickups) took place for the Municipalities of Corinth and Loutraki–Perachora–Agioi Theodoroi. The donation was made by the Vardinoyannis Foundation and Motor Oil, significantly strengthening the region’s fire protection and civil protection capabilities.

The vehicles, based on the Ford Ranger, were delivered by ABO DEMAN fully equipped with Autonomous Firefighting Units (A.PY.S.), offering immediate operational readiness and high effectiveness in first‑response incidents.

Strengthening Civil Protection with Modern Pickup Vehicles

The new rapid‑intervention vehicles significantly enhance the operational capacity of volunteer fire‑protection teams, offering:

  • immediate response to fire incidents
  • increased flexibility in rough and rural terrain
  • effective first intervention
  • modern and reliable firefighting equipment through A.PY.S.
  • capability for patrol and prevention thanks to their autonomy and agility

Their ability to conduct continuous patrols makes these vehicles a valuable tool for early detection of risks and preventing the spread of fires, reinforcing the municipalities’ preventive mechanisms.

Vehicle Allocation

  • 4 vehicles to the volunteer fire‑protection associations of the Municipality of Loutraki–Perachora–Agioi Theodoroi
  • 3 vehicles to the corresponding associations of the Municipality of Corinth
