Donation by the Antonios and Ioannis Angelicoussis Foundation: 10 New ISUZU D-MAX 4×4 Firefighting Vehicles Built by ABO DEMAN for the Hellenic Fire Service

In 2024, ten (10) new fully equipped light firefighting vehicles (RIVs), based on ISUZU D-MAX 4×4 pickups, were delivered to the Hellenic Fire Service. The vehicles were manufactured by ABO DEMAN, as part of a donation from the Antonios and Ioannis Angelicoussis Foundation, significantly strengthening the operational capabilities of the Service.

Each vehicle is equipped with an autonomous firefighting unit of the latest technology, fully compliant with European standard EN 1846-1. Key technical specifications include:

  • 500-liter water tank capacity
  • Pump performance: 6 bar / 500 l/min, ensuring high efficiency under demanding conditions
  • Modern firefighting equipment designed for rapid operational response
  • Ergonomic layout and user-friendly handling for personnel

The delivery took place at the central warehouses of the Hellenic Fire Service, in the presence of representatives of the Foundation and Fire Service officials. These new vehicles are expected to significantly enhance the daily efforts of the Fire Service to safeguard citizens and protect the country’s natural resources.
