ABO-DEMAN Fortifies Lemnos: New Specialized Vehicles in the Service of Civil Protection

We proudly announce the delivery of three (3) new Toyota Revo Firefighting Vehicles (RIVs) to the Municipality of Lemnos. The vehicles arrived on the island on Friday, October 24, 2025, signaling the immediate strengthening of the Civil Protection Mechanism.

The procurement falls under the framework of Sub-Project 2: “Actions and measures for monitoring, control, prevention, and early warning,” which is part of the broader operation “Digital Transformation of the Municipality of Lemnos.” The project is funded through the “Antonis Tritsis” program, reaffirming support for regional development and security.

The three new firefighting vehicles are designed to enhance the flexibility and effectiveness of the local forces. These are specially configured Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIVs) equipped with Autonomous Firefighting Skid Units (Α.ΠΥ.Σ) capable of reaching even the most inaccessible areas of the island quickly.

Their operation focuses on immediate response to incidents, contributing decisively to the prevention and early management of emergency situations.
