1990
Upgrade to “Papakonstantinou – DEMAN Ltd.”

Upgrade to “Papakonstantinou – DEMAN Ltd.” under the trade name GAP – DEMAN (DΕsign & MΑΝufacturing). The company employs 4 certified engineers, with offices in Athens and a 1,000m² production facility in Piraeus (Papastratou Street). Activity: design and manufacturing of special machinery/vehicles, as well as import of technological equipment for the public sector.

1997
Supply of 10 Bedford MT 19–21 vehicles

Supply of 10 Bedford MT 19–21 vehicles to the Ministry of Development.

1998
Supply of 20 Mazda B2500 pickup trucks

Supply of 20 Mazda B2500 pickup trucks with autonomous firefighting units to the Ministry of the Aegean.

2000
Civil Aviation Authority

Delivery to the Civil Aviation Authority (Hellenikon International Airport) of 5 OSPREY Airfield Rubber Removal Systems (Ultra High Pressure Runway Cleaning Systems) and 3 aircraft passenger stairs. The company reaches the milestone of 500 delivered machines since its foundation.

Transformation through merger into today’s “Attica Vehicle & Machinery Industry S.A.” under the trade name ABO – DEMAN S.A.

First participation in the international industry exhibition InterAigis.

Delivery of 20 airport firefighting vehicles

Delivery of 20 airport firefighting vehicles to the Civil Aviation Authority. Vehicles designed by ABO DEMAN and manufactured in Poland in exclusive cooperation with WISS.

2019
Certification ISO 14001

Environmental management certification according to ISO 14001.

2020
Modernization of production

Modernization of production with the installation of state-of-the-art machinery, increasing capacity and technological superiority.

2021
Certification by Stellantis

Certification by Stellantis, confirming ABO DEMAN’s compliance with the strictest quality and safety standards for vehicle conversions. This certification serves as a strong guarantee of reliability and partnerships.

2023
Certification ISO 45001

Occupational health and safety management certification according to ISO 45001.
